Dr. Prashant A. Telvekar (1979) is presently working as Professor (CAS) in the Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics, College of Fisheries Science, Nagpur, a constituent college of the Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur. He completed Masters in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) in 2002 from the ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai (CIFE) and Ph. D. in Fish and Fisheries Science with specialization in Fisheries Resources Management from the same institute in 2007. His field of specialization is Fisheries Resources Management and Fisheries Extension. He has published 40 Research Papers in the National and International Journals of repute and successfully completed a number of research and extension projects.
