Dr. Sachin Shrikant Chinchorkar is an Associate Professor in Agricultural Engineering at Anand Agricultural University, Dahod, Gujarat, where he has been serving since 2009. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics in 2025. His research interests include Agricultural Meteorology, climate variability, rainfall analysis, and weather-based agricultural applications. He has published more than 60 research papers and over 60 popular articles and has developed a monsoon prediction model for Gujarat with an accuracy of more than 85%. He has received prestigious awards and actively participates in national and international seminars, conferences, and scientific activities.He got many national and international awards in his career.
