Dr. Swati Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Chandigarh University and the founder of the biotech startup Kanav Biosyze Pvt Ltd. With a strong academic background, she holds a Ph.D. from the University Malaysia Pahang and has pursued international research collaborations, including a stint as a visiting researcher at Konkuk University, South Korea. Her research focuses on biodegradable polymers, keratin-based biomaterials, bioplastics, hydrogels, and polymeric systems with antioxidant and anticancer properties. She has published extensively in reputed journals, authored several books, and contributed to multiple book chapters in the field of biopolymeric and nanomaterial sciences.
