Muralidharan Lakshmanan is a researcher and practitioner in distributed systems and applied artificial intelligence, with 17+ years spanning fintech, healthcare, and supply chain. He is Vice President, Solutions Architect at Synchrony Financial, leading a 50+ member global engineering team. His work centers on self-optimizing multi-agent caching architectures for high-throughput financial systems and on PACE, his framework for governing agentic AI through progressive autonomy, auditability, controlled boundaries, and ecosystem integration. An IEEE Senior Member, he has peer-reviewed for over 20 international conferences and served on technical program committees for BDAA and IEEE IEMCON 2026. He received Synchrony’s 2025 CEO Award.
