Dr. M. Rajani obtained her M.Sc and Ph.D in Statistics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. She is currently working as Assistant Professor (c) in the Department of Fisheries Economics and Statistics, Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University, College of Fishery Science, Muthukur and teaching BFSc., MFSc., and Ph.D. Scholars in the discipline of Fisheries Economics and Statistics. Her areas of Research are Econometrics, Applied Regression Analysis, Time series analysis and Statistical Methods. She served as academic consultant at Sri Venkateswary University in the Department of Statistics and taught courses like Stochastic Process, Probability Theory, Statistical Computing, Bio-Statistics, and Operation Research to M.Sc Students. She has 11 years of teaching experience in Statistics.
She has published 05 books as author, co-author and co-editor, 05 book chapters, 03 scientific articles and more than 25 research papers in reputed National, International and Scopus journals. She has presented 10 research papers in international conferences and also she attended 40 National and International Conference / Workshops / Seminars / Training Programs. She has Qualified State Eligibility Test. She is a life member and editorial member of various statistics, sciences, and fisheries economics societies and bodies.
